01/12/26 Ryan’s “Finally Seasonal” Monday Forecast

The last few weeks have been dramatically warmer than they should have been, but a much more seasonal week lies ahead.

It finally feels like we have some seasonal weather in place after a few weeks of much more spring-like weather. Temperatures fell to just below freezing inland this morning, with coastal temperatures hovering just above. This afternoon will be nice and cool as well, thankfully sparing us from a significant wind chill as the wind dies down. That’ll take us into a calm and progressively more clear night, leading to another frosty morning with lows lingering in the low-to-mid 30s. A warming trend kicks off after that that’ll have us back in the 60s by Wednesday, but cold weather fans can rejoice, because another front passes through bringing an even sharper cool-down than we’re experiencing now. That’ll have highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s as we finish off the week.
