Dinner theatre program at Diamondhead Country Club
The Diamondhead School of Fine Arts will be hosting their first ever children’s dinner theatre program this Saturday.
The children of DSFA will be performing ‘The Lost Ending,’ a one act comedy with musical theatre showcases.
The school is a nonprofit that strives to be affordable and provide scholarships to students. They offer dance, yoga, ballet classes, as well as other academic and cultural pursuits.
Executive Director Sarah Shelton takes pride in the school, saying it’s a hub for creativity that allows all the different departments to learn and grow together. “We’re already getting our students head shots. Our art department is helping out our theatre department with our set design. Our music department is getting ready to do performances for our ballet. We’re all working together for a wonderful end goal.”
If you would like to help DSFA in their mission to help students discover their potential as an artist, you can attend their dinner theatre on Saturday. Tickets are $25 and include seated dinner for each person. You can purchase tickets at www.diamondheadschool.org.
