Auburn QB, George County alum Deuce Knight plans to enter transfer portal

AUBURN, Al. (WXXV SPORTS)- George County alum and Auburn true Freshman QB Deuce Knight plans to enter the transfer portal

Hayes Fawcett with On3 sports stated Tuesday afternoon that the 5-star plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal when it opens on January 2nd.

In his only start for the Auburn Tigers, Deuce tied the school record with six total touchdowns. He was also 15-20 with 239 passing yards and 162 rushing yards.

Out of high school, Knight was ranked the 5th overall quarterback for the 2025 recruiting class and led the George County Rebels with over 2,000 passing yards, 450 rushing yards and 37 total touchdowns during his senior season.
