George County School District receives donation for early learning collaborative
GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County School District received a very generous donation from a local business.
The school district thanked Century Bank for a donation of $300,000 to support the early learning collaborative.
In total, there are eight early learning collaborative classrooms in the county, spread across all schools.
The school district says this is more than a gift, it is a commitment to the youngest learners and the future of the community.
They finish by saying that through partnerships, the school district can expand opportunities, strengthen early childhood education, and give children the strong start they deserve.
