Tanner Williams Bridge reopens in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Good news for drivers in northern Jackson County, a bridge crossing the Escatawpa River is back open.

The Tanner Williams Bridge has been closed since June after an inspection found structural issues.

County officials say the recent repairs were necessary to ensure the bridge’s long-term integrity and structural safety.

The bridge is now open to normal traffic.
