Card skimming operation wraps up in Mississippi
Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the end of her office’s statewide operation targeting card skimmers.
More than 900 Mississippi businesses and 6,000 card reading devices were inspected between November 6 through the 20 for Operation Safe.
Through this operation and this year, the AG’s Office has recovered 15 card skimmers in Mississippi.
Many South Mississippi police departments partnered with AG Fitch for this year’s operation.
