Gulf Coast Community Foundation launches GivHer Circle Young Philanthropist Cohort

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-The Gulf Coast Community Foundation launched its new initiative designed to empower the next generation of women leaders in South Mississippi Thursday morning.

The GivHer Circle celebrated its first Young Philanthropist Cohort in Gulfport. The inaugural class brings together 15 professional women, each 34 and under, for a seven-month journey in leadership and philanthropy.

Participants will meet monthly through May 2026 and receive training in nonprofit financial management and strategic decision making.

Organizers say they’re excited to see these emerging leaders grow and make a meaningful impact in their community.

Gulf Coast Community Foundation leaders say this is a powerful step towards strengthening women’s leadership across the Coast.
