Loco Beach Coconuts bring Banana Ball fun to Waveland ahead of big weekend
WAVELAND, Miss. (WXXV) — Banana Ball excitement is taking over the Mississippi Gulf Coast as the Loco Beach Coconuts teamed up with Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a weekend of fun ahead of their highly anticipated game.
Five Loco Beach Coconuts players made a special appearance Friday at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Waveland, where they met fans, signed baseballs, posed for photos and even stepped behind the counter to make smoothies.
The event also marked the debut of the limited-time Loco Beach Colada Smoothie, created to celebrate the team’s partnership with Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Fans attending events throughout the weekend can enjoy smoothie samples, giveaways and exclusive merchandise at Keesler Federal Park. One lucky fan will also have the chance to win free smoothies for a year.
The partnership brings together two fan-favorite brands to help build excitement around the fast-paced, entertainment-filled Banana Ball experience, which continues to draw crowds across the Gulf Coast.
Fans can catch the Loco Beach Coconuts in action at Keesler Federal Park and take part in special promotions and activities happening throughout the weekend.
