Waveland man sentenced on child exploitation charges

WAVELAND, Miss. (WXXV)- A Waveland man will serve two decades behind bars after being found guilty on child exploitation charges, following an investigation by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.
Colby Johnson was sentenced on the charge of child exploitation material in Hancock County Circuit Court.
Investigations found over 1,000 images of child sexual abuse on Johnson’s device.
As a previously convicted sex offender, Johnson is not eligible for parole.
