How to protect yourself against card skimming

Criminals are using card readers and other devices to steal data from debit, credit, and ATM cards at gas pumps and ATM machines.

The thieves can even steal pin numbers.

This cybercrime is called skimming.

Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch is protecting businesses and consumers from fraud with a campaign called ‘Stop the Skim.’
