Mega Millions jackpot continues to rise

The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow after no ticket matched all six numbers in Friday’s drawing.

The jackpot has surged to $714 million, making it the ninth largest amount in the game’s history.

The next drawing is Tuesday.

If someone happens to win, it would be the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won in the month of October.

The lottery says more than 482,000 did win some kind of prize, but just not the big one.
