Harrison County man arrested on sex crimes involving a child
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Harrison County man is behind bars on sex crime charges involving a child.
Thirty-six-year-old Kurtis Emmert of Saucier is charged with touching a child for lustful purposes.
Sheriff’s officials say Emmert went to the Harrison County Jail Sunday and told deputies he impregnated a 12-year-old.
This is still an active investigation that may result in more charges, but officials had enough evidence to arrest Emmert on the touching of a child charge.
