MGCCC holds 5K in honor of 9/11 victims

PERKINSTON, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College held a 5K in honor of victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The event took place at the Perkinston campus. Participants could walk or run the 5K.

This was part of an initiative to keep an active campus and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

MGCCC’s next 5K will be a Veterans Day event.
