Faery Court Ball in Biloxi will benefit local non-profits
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV) — An annual fantasy ball in Biloxi is only a few weeks away. The ball will offer a night of magic and fun while supporting local non-profits.
A world of elegance and imagination awaits those who attend this year’s Faery Court Ball. Event founder and Treasures Market owner Suzanne Stafford filled us in on what to expect this year.
This is the sixth year for the ball, bringing those from near and far together for a night of costumes, community, and causes. This year’s theme is Court of the Dragon – Realm of Asgard, and the event will benefit multiple non-profits in the area, including Diamondhead School of Fine Arts, H.E.R.E. Rescue, Just Cause Rescue, and Joppa Shriners.
Stafford says she started the ball to give adults the chance to escape their everyday lives and spend a night dancing, eating, drinking, and supporting local organizations and vendors.
The Diamondhead School of Fine Arts will be over the bar, and the H.E.R.E. animal rescue will bring snakes, lizards and other exotic animals to the party for education. The ball will also have a costume contest, vendors, a 360 degree photo booth, and raffles to directly support the non-profits.
Tickets sales to the annual Faery Court Ball will close on Sept. 19, so you only have 10 days left to secure your spot at the event.
