Students learn about different careers at Mississippi West Coast High School Career Showcase

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV)-The Mississippi West Coast High School career showcase took place Tuesday morning at the Bay St. Louis Community Hall.

The event gave students an opportunity to learn about different career fields by actually seeing and hearing what training is needed, growth opportunities, and potential salaries.

The main goal of the showcase is for students to learn more about the industries and careers that interest them from community members who were once in their shoes.

Up to 500 students were in attendance at the career showcase. Seniors from Bay High School, Hancock High School, Pass Christian High School, St. Stanislaus, and Our Lady Academy were invited with hopes of exposing them to a wide variety of career options.
