Three arrested in Pearl River County after drugs found in sweet tea jug

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Drugs were found in a sweet tea jug, leading to the arrest of three people.

The incident happened in Pearl River County after a deputy performed a traffic stop.

Those in the car were identified as Briana Harris, Patrick Russell, and Javaze Bowden.

The deputy noticed a white plastic bag in a jug of Milo’s sweet tea, emptying the jug and finding two bags of meth.

All three in the car were taken to the Pearl River County Jail, booked for tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance.
