Stone County Correctional Facility announced Goodpath Workforce Development Training

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Stone County Correctional Facility announced the start of their Goodpath Workforce Development Training.

Inmates are able to participate in hands-on training to build digital skills, explore career paths, and prepare for re-entry into the workforce.

Those skills being taught include email, social media literacy, computer apps, and more.

Also offered are 350 virtual reality simulations in fields like automotive, skilled trades, aviation maintenance, healthcare, and more.

The Correctional Facility says they are proud to offer opportunities that empower a person to build a brighter future.
