Singing River Health System holding blood drive to help local family

Singing River Health System is hosting a series of community blood drives this week across the Coast in honor of Kevin Chevalier.

Chevalier is the husband of Singing River employee Michelle Chevalier and he is battling a rare and life-threatening autoimmune disorder.

This is an opportunity for the community to give back and make a meaningful difference.

The blood drive started Monday morning at Ocean Springs Hospital. It begins again on Wednesday, August 13 at Singing River Lingle Building in Gautier. On Thursday, August 14 the blood drive will be at the Pascagoula Hospital. On Friday, August 15 in Singing River Gulfport. All are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
