Wild Wonders with Ryan Mahan: Penguins

We're at Mississippi Aquarium once again, this time to learn about penguins and how you can meet them!

Today’s Wild Wonders with Mississippi Aquarium is all about penguins! We meet with William, a South African Blackfooted penguin. These guys are native to the coastline of South Africa, so they aren’t too uncomfortable in our warmer Gulf Coast climate. They are endangered though, so it’s good to see them thriving here, especially since the aquarium just hatched three more! While not part of general admission to the aquarium, you can take part in an educational meet and greet, learning more about these birds and their unique personalities.
