07/29 Ryan’s “More Heat” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Expect more heat out there today as hot and humid conditions continue, but rain will start cooling things off.

Another day with more heat out there as Heat Warnings and Advisories continue across the area. Things will start to improve a bit later on thanks to increasing shower and thunderstorm chances, which will keep things on the cooler side in the days ahead. That doesn’t help much initially today though, with heat indices still ranging between 105° and 115° across South Mississippi. That means you’ll need to continue to take it as easy as possible outside today, with at least some relief coming for the rest of the week as our showers become more widespread and consistent. Even then, highs will only fall a few degrees into the low 90s, so it’ll still be quite hot…just not as dangerously so.
