Biloxi mayor shares city updates at Breakfast with Mayor event
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- A few Coast mayors spoke to community members and business leaders for the first time in this new municipal term.
Wednesday morning, Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich had his Breakfast with the Mayor event inside of the Hard Rock Casino.
Mayor Gilich addressed a large crowd at the breakfast as he provided updates on the City of Biloxi. The quarterly awards were given out recognizing an outstanding police officer, fire fighter, airman, and nurse.
Mayor Gilich touched on various topics which included the Popp’s Ferry extension project, the A.J. Holloway Sports Complex, the Saenger Theater, park upgrades, Woolmarket sidewalks, the old Brick House, and the MGCCC traffic signal.
The 44th annual Biloxi Seafood Festival poster was also revealed.
