Reception held for third annual Congressional Art Competition

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The third annual Congressional Art Competition held its reception Thursday at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art.

This is an annual nationwide competition where young artists submit their creations to their representative’s office with a brief description about their work.

If their work was chosen, they were honored at Thursday’s event with the first-place submission to hang in the U.S. capital building for the next year.

Congressman Mike Ezell says it is an honor to be part of this event that highlights such talented young artists.

If you would like to come see the works of these talented young artists, they will temporarily be in the admission building at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art.
