Search underway in Natchez, MS for escaped New Orleans inmate

NATCHEZ, Miss. (WXXV) – A search is currently underway in Natchez, Mississippi for one of the escaped inmates out of New Orleans. This was confirmed by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

According a local media outlet, the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Department has received reports of one of the jail escapees in the area. Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Department and the Louisiana State Police are on the ground and in the air.

The sighting has not been confirmed but officials are searching the area out of caution.
