05/22 Ryan’s “Much Cooler” Thursday Morning Forecast

A much cooler start to the day thanks to yesterday's cold front, but it doesn't last long!

We’re finally seeing a break in our summertime pattern as much cooler weather has moved in on the back of yesterday’s cold front. Temperatures fell a little lower than I expected thanks to the front pushing a little further southward, all the way down into the mid 60s in the Gulfport/Biloxi area. There won’t be much cooling left for the afternoon as temperatures climb back into the mid 80s, but it’ll still feel much cooler thanks to the lower humidity still lingering in the area. Sadly, it won’t last much longer though. We’ll see lightly southerly winds later today, which will start inching the humidity back up, while a returning front will bring even more as we finish off the week and head through Memorial Day weekend.

The cold front attached to that warm front will arrive as we begin next week, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms starting Monday.
