Ocean Springs School District names new Assistant Superintendent

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs School District has announced their new assistant superintendent.

Justin Sutton has been named the next assistant superintendent of the district. The School District’s Board of Trustees made the vote on Tuesday to approve his nomination.

He rejoins the school district after four years as principal of Long Beach High School.

Prior to that position, Sutton served in various roles at Ocean Springs High School including IB coordinator and as assistant principal for nine years.

He assumes the position on July 1.
