Arrest made in Trevues Martin murder
Another person is behind bars in connection to the murder of Trevues Martin, the 20-year-old who was found dead in the front seat of his vehicle hours before his 21st birthday.
Gulfport police arrested 18-year-old Kalisha Crockett Friday evening. Crockett is charged with accessory after the fact of murder. She’s being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Trevues died from a single gunshot wound to the head in September 2016. Tasha Martin, Trevues’ mother, said, “My family has been waiting on this for like eight months straight. This is a blessing in disguise. We went through so much when Trevues got killed in his yard. Three more months, it’ll be a year and we done found out who was involved.”
Police arrested 19-year-old Deandre Dashawn-Antonio Ball in September of 2016 in connection to Martin’s murder. His mother said she expects there to be even more arrests in the future.
