06/09 Ryan’s “Mild” Friday Night Forecast
It’ll be another mild evening, but the temperature is beginning to rise along with the humidity. So expect more of both as we head into tomorrow afternoon, which will warm to 87 on the waterfront with light southerly winds. We’ll see a few more clouds than we did today, but it will remain at least mostly sunny and pleasant.
By Sunday afternoon we’ll begin seeing significant changes. From Saturday night to Sunday afternoon expect the “precipitatable water” overhead to nearly double, leading to increased chances of rain and cloud cover. A warm front is moving in from the Central Gulf and while is isn’t very strong or expected to last long, it will provide enough instability during daytime heating hours to create a few showers and storms. This trend will continue through Monday, but will begin to taper off in terms of rain and cloud cover through the rest of the week. Next weekend is looking much clearer and warmer than we began this one.
