Fire department asking for help naming engine serving William Carey area

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WXXV)-Calling all William Carey students and alum! The Hattiesburg Fire Department is asking the WCU community to help name the newest fire engine.

The engine was unveiled during the parade of champions and will serve the William Carey area.

The truck is wrapped in the university’s colors and features their logos.

Fire department officials say they are now looking for a name that reflects the WCU community.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the university are invited to suggest names.  To suggest a name, click here.
