Spillway trigger points not in forecast as MS River levels lower

An update by the Army Corps of Engineers offering some good news on the river levels.

In an update Tuesday afternoon, the operational trigger points for the Bonnet Carre Spillway are no longer in the forecast.

The measurements of the Mississippi River water levels are coming in lower than previous weeks.

This means the river is expected to stay below 1.25 cubic feet per second.
