Gulfport softball fights to keep their post-season alive defeating Petal 6-5 in extra innings

Gulfport Lady Admirals hosted Petal high school for game two of their playoff campaigns.

Paige Moore gets things started in the second with a single, Skylar Brock does her job and moves her to third, and Jones signee Fairley Hall scores more on a standing double to score the first run of the game.

Parker Zahedi and Juliana Espat make outstanding plays in the outfield in back-to-back innings.

The Lady Admirals fought long and hard and it was all worth it as they defeat Petal 6-5 in 8 innings of work. Now that Gulfport and Petal has split, the third and deciding game will be played tomorrow at Petal. Best of luck to our Lady Admirals!
