George County School District announces new Superintendent of Education

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Board of Education has announced the new Superintendent of Education.

Debra Joiner will be the next superintendent of George County School District beginning July 1, 2025.

Joiner has over 30 years of experience in education and has served in various roles in the district as a parent volunteer, a teacher, and the last 17 years as an administrator.
