Drug seizure in Hancock County

Hancock County, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi Highway Patrol’s commercial transportation enforcement division seized large quantities of illegal narcotics during a drug bust this week in Hancock County.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this operation on I-10 Wednesday.

Officials seized approximately 205 pounds of marijuana, 560 units of THC products, six pounds of edibles and 150 units of mushroom products from a two-axle box truck.

This is the latest drug bust operations part of an ongoing commitment from CTED to protecting Mississippi roadways.
