MDOT honors fallen workers

JACKSON, MISS. (WXXV)- MDOT held a memorial ceremony for fallen workers Tuesday in Jackson.

The ceremony honored employees who have lost their lives while working on Mississippi roads over the years.

The Fallen Workers Memorial Ceremony brought together families of the fallen to pay tribute to their loved ones.

MDOT hopes this ceremony reminds drivers to use caution and eliminate work zone fatalities in the future.
