Track and field athletes begin postseason at MHSAA Region 4-7A meet

Regional track and field meets are taking place across the Magnolia State, and that includes here in South Mississippi, as six schools competed in the MHSAA Region 4-7A meet at Biloxi High School on Wednesday.

Student-athletes from Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Harrison Central, Ocean Springs and St. Martin competed in a variety of individual events with the goal of advancing deeper into the postseason.

The top four finishers in each event will compete in the South State Championships beginning next weekend.
