Ninth annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala
It’s the ninth annual Coast Young Professional’s Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala. The event honors ten of its most accomplished and influential mentors with the Forever Young Award.
Forever Young candidates are persons of professional integrity who exemplify the spirit of service to their professions who made a significant contribution to the advancement of a Coast Young Professional member’s career through mentoring.
Tonight, 276 members celebrated with a dinner and are reminded why they are appreciated to the community. Coast Young Professional Director Olivia Munn said, “We’re the next generation. The young professionals are the people that are going to carry them forward. I think both ways, it means a lot to the YPs to have that mentorship and vice versa. I mean, there are so many things that are changing every day and so mentors need the young people to help them, too, to get them on the trends and so it works both ways, it means a lot.”
If you would like to join the Coast Young Professionals, you can sign up on their website and pay the $75 membership application fee at Coastyoungprofessionals.com.
