Candidates speak at Mayoral and Councilman Ward 3 Candidate Forum
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)-The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held a candidate forum at the senior center for the Pascagoula mayoral and Ward 3 city council elections.
This forum gave candidates the opportunity to answer questions from voters and chamber officials.
You may recall, Ward 3 Councilman Johnny Walker died in late February. Before his death, Walker was the only candidate to qualify for the seat in the Republican primary.
Since his death was so close to the election date, ballots will still say Johnny Walker, so voters will have to write in the candidate they wish to elect.
This candidate forum is ahead of the April 1st primary where Pascagoula residents can cast ballots in the mayoral and council primary elections.
