Pet Vaccine and Microchip Drive in Jackson County

A rabies vaccine and microchip drive is open to the public this Saturday.

The drive takes place at the Ocean Springs Dog Park behind the police department from 1 to 5 that afternoon.

The vaccine and microchip will cost $5 for the first 125 pets.

Now a few rules, you’ll receive a number as you drive up and you must stay in your car until your number is called.

A maximum of five pets are allowed for each person. You will need to fill out a form.

You pet must be at least 12 weeks old to receive the rabies vaccine.
