Woman arrested, charged in murder of three year old Picayune girl
A woman has been arrested and charged in the murder of a three-year-old girl in Picayune.
On March 18th, Picayune Police officers were dispatched to Crestwood Drive in reference to a deceased three-year-old, identified as Aurora Enfinger.
During the investigation, foul play was suspected and Aurora’s death was ruled a homicide. Detective obtained a search warrant and began gathering evidence in the case.
Samantha Enfinger was charged with capital murder as well as possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Christian Enfinger was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute as well.
According to Picayune Police, Samantha Enfinger is Aurora’s step mother and Christian Enfinger is Aurora’s biological father.
