Biloxi woman sentenced to life consecutive to 30 years for homicide and robbery

A Biloxi woman is sentenced to life consecutive to 30 years for homicide and robbery in Harrison County.

30-year-old Angel ‘Lexy’ May Pierce pled guilty to first-degree murder and armed robbery for the July 3, 2022 murder of 24-year-old Cody Smith.

According to Assistant District Attorney Chris Daniel, Smith was last seen in Harrison County with Pierce and a co-defendant. His body was located by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office in De Lisle after they received a missing person tip from Byram Police Department.

A co-defendant in Pierce’s case is set for trial in late April.
