MEMA continues with storm damage assessments
WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Crews continue to survey damage from Saturday’s deadly storms in parts of Mississippi, as people from across the state begin to lend a helping hand.
Governor Tate Reeves revealed Tuesday that another death has been reported in Walthall County, bringing the statewide death total to seven.
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency now has a page on its website with donation information for Grenada, Smith, and Walthall counties.
MEMA crews have been out since the storm, taking stock of property lost. MEMA Director Stephen McCraney and Governor Reeves spent much of the day Monday surveying the damage.
