Man wanted for attempted murder in Florida arrested in Harrison County
A man wanted for attempted murder in Fort Myers, Florida has been arrested in Harrison County.
On March 15th, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a double shooting at the Cypress West Apartments in Fort Myers.
At that scene, deputies located two victims with multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to the hospital and are currently in stable condition.
After an investigation, the suspect was identified as 35-year-old Roger De Le Cruz.
De Le Cruz fled the scene before deputies arrived.
He remained at-large until large until Harrison County sheriff’s deputies located him and arrested him on Interstate 10 near Gulfport today.
He is facing two counts of attempted second-degree murder and is also on an ICE hold.
