Gulfport native elected to NAACP Foundation Board of Trustees

A Gulfport native was just elected to the NAACP Foundation Board of Trustees.

Yolanda Egland Wilson is taking on the esteemed position and will serve a three-year term on the board.

Wilson is a graduate of the former St. John High School in Gulfport and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Mississippi.

The foundation supports the mission of the NAACP by raising funds, promoting philanthropy and further to advise the NAACP Board of Directors regarding the programs of the foundation.
