Contract kitchen employee arrested for distributing contraband at Pearl River County Jail

For the past several weeks, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics has been investigating a contract kitchen employee bringing in contraband and distributing it to inmates.

After gathering evidence, investigators have identified the worker as Stacey Sistrunk of Slidell, Louisiana.

Arrest warrants were obtained for her arrest for distributing contraband into a correctional facility along with an inmate.

Early Saturday morning investigators conducted a search in the kitchen of the Pearl River County Jail and located other contraband items that other inmates were in possession of.

Sistrunk was booked into the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility as an inmate.

Through Sistrunk was a contact employee Sheriff David Allison said this type of behavior will not be tolerated from any employees or inmates at the correction facility.
