Harrison County School District teachers receive COVID-19 vaccine

Teachers and staff in the Harrison County School District are joining their fellow educators on the Coast in getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

HCSD employees met at the district’s Center for Excellence in Gulfport this afternoon to get their shots and protect themselves against the virus.

A total of 150 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were made available today and the shots were administered through the Singing River Health System.

Another vaccine distribution event will be held on Friday through Memorial Hospital.
