02/24 Ryan’s “Cool & Cloudy” Monday Morning Forecast

This week will begin cool & cloudy as well as a little damp thanks to light, persistent showers, but a much warmer week lies ahead.

I expected this broad low to be a little further south of us, but it crept in and left things damp, cool & cloudy to start off this week. The rain has all but dried up as I write this, but it’ll still remain cloudy for a good bit of the day. This morning was cool & cloudy with lows in the upper 40s/low 50s, and lingering showers until around sunrise. Those morning clouds will begin to break up some by the afternoon hours, possibly upwards of around a 50/50 clouds-to-sun mix by sunset with a high near 66. That’s right where we should be for this time of year, but we’ll see more noticeable warming and feel the rising humidity in the days ahead. We’ll keep getting warmer and more humid until a front passes through Thursday afternoon, brining a few showers and some slight cooling.

Highs will have topped out in the low-to-mid 70s by then, but will fall back to average for Friday as the sun takes over. After that though we’re right back into the 70s with rising humidity again….
