Meet and Greet at Roy Howard Community Journalism Center at USM
The University of Southern Mississippi held a meet and greet for students at the Roy Howard Community Journalism Center on Thursday.
Media outlets from the Pine Belt were invited to take part.
The center, launched earlier this year, covers ten counties in total. Students in the program focus on the communities that see no coverage.
The journalism center has three bureaus in the Magnolia State, two at both Southern Miss campuses and one in Jackson embedded with Mississippi Public Broadcasting.
