Stone High School making progress on new campus construction

Stone High School is making great progress on the construction of its new campus and athletic facility. WXXV 25’s Jordyn Lassiter visited the construction site to get student reactions and met with Superintendent Boyd West. 

A brand-new athletic facility is on the way—something Stone High didn’t have before. This dedicated space will make sports games more accessible and help establish new traditions on campus.

This new campus has been long awaited, as the previous campus had numerous reports of being outdated. Thanks to the generosity of the Stone County Community, they were able to get funding for the new campus. 

The construction project is set to finish on time with the new campus opening this year.
