Amateur radio class being held in Jackson County

A special event is being hosted on Tuesday.

The Jackson County Amateur Radio organization will be hosting a Disaster Communication Introduction class.

That takes place at the St. Martin Community Center starting at 6 PM.

Demos, questions, and speakers will be on site to help out.

Throughout the event, information on what HAM radios are, why they are needed, and how you can become a HAM operator will be provided.
