2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl kicks off in Mobile, Alabama
Mobile, AL is the place to be this week as senior college football players look to make a name for themselves, or even solidify their draft stock, ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft as scouts and coaches make their way to the south for the annual Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Players reporter to Mobile on Sunday and the week was underway on Monday with an introductory press conference. Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy, former Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe gathered in the ballroom of the Mobile Convention Center Monday afternoon. All three spoke about the opportunities that present themselves throughout the week.
“The players that are here, the players that showed up, the 136 players that showed up yesterday…it just says a lot about them,” Nagy said. “I told them last night at orientation that they have made a statement by coming to Mobile.”
“This is a great opportunity,” Gabriel said. “As a competitor, anytime you can throw the pads on and do this kind of thing and be a part of something special you want to. It was very easy on my end to say yes.”
“Just seeing the talent, being around here and also being with the coaching staff there has been so much information I have learned,” Milroe said. “That is the biggest thing going into this week. Just trying to have that mindset to always learn and just look at the lessons that are put in front of me.”
Team practices start on Tuesday and will run through Thursday. WXXV Sports will have full coverage all week long from Mobile, AL.
