City of Pascagoula under boil water notice

The City of Pascagoula is under a boil water notice.

As temperatures increase and pipes thaw, leaks are being identified. Crews are working to repair water lines throughout the city that were damaged by the freezing temperatures.

According to the City of Pascagoula, public works is working quickly to alleviate these issues as they occur.

As repairs are made, water pressure will continue to return to normal. The city says you may notice a slight discoloration in your water today but do not be alarmed. This is because the city is currently mixing chlorinated groundwater with treated water to fill up the water tanks and provide pressure.
